About Sainik Institutes

Sainik Institutes of Management & Technology are run under the aegis of department of Defence Services Welfare Punjab and are affiliated with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. These Diploma and Degree courses are UGC recognised and have been designed to prepare the students for career in IT Industry.

The management of the Institutes is determined to provide professional and efficient staff to train the students in a given syllabus of the courses designed by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. Sainik Institutes of Management & Technology are a place where endeavour is made for overall development of the students. In addition to the course curriculum emphasis is laid on improving knowledge base by Personality Development Programs, Lectures by Visiting Faculty, Educational Tours to places of interest.

The mission of Sainik Institutes of Management & Technology is to provide to the rural youth educational opportunities that emphasize skills & knowledge that will allow the student to adjust through a lifetime of social and technological change. We recognize that education is vital in developing skills needed for a productive society and essential in promoting the individual’s sense of worth, value and high ethical standards. The college is committed to offer quality education to its students and to assist them in discovering their leadership qualities and to fulfill their educational goals.

Objectives

In order to fulfil the mission of Sainik Institutes of Management & Technology, the Institution sets forth the following objectives which reflect the overall goals of the college.

1.To provide a varied selection of academic curricula in business specialized areas and in general education by systematically reviewing classroom facilities, equipment, curriculum, faculty and staff.

2.To provide the students with a background of job skills which enhance their employability.

3.To provide the students with management skills which contribute to success in their careers and in their personal lives.

4.To make available to our students activities, services and experiences which foster personal growth and leadership qualities that assist them in their social, vocational and academic pursuits as well as in ethical and moral values.
